Christmas Season in Korea
ļ»æļ»æ ļ»æļ»æ Is there a Christmas Celebration in Korea? In Christian communities which include churches, they celebrate Christmas. We might as well say that because of expats coming in Korea, Christmas is celebrated but only by a few. However, celebration is still cold like their winter season. Comparing Christmas celebration from other countries like the Philippines, decorations start in the month of September followed by bonfires, food preparation, christmas carols and evening mass 'till midnight of December 24th. On the 25th, people visit relatives and friends and spend eating and chatting.
So, if you are a foreigner in Korea, create your own time and activity how to celebrate Christmas. It might be, skiing since it's winter or visiting an orphanage. Kids always love to have presents.
